Rapid City Career Advisor, Bill, coordinated a Summer Job Fair on March 31, for more than 600 students at Rapid City Central High School. More than 35 local businesses shared their available summer and permanent job openings with students.
Students could pick up information from tables in the hallway near the commons area, visit potential employers, get help from our employment specialists and fill out applications online.
Jerome, Carrie, Kaitlin, Jadyn, Shaylyn and Forrest from the Rapid City Job Service office helped with set up and assisted students and employers during the fair.
This event was so successful two other Rapid City high schools decided to host a Summer Job Fair. Rapid City Stevens High School held its event April 21. Rapid City High School is May 3.
Information on job openings and links to online applications for all businesses attending the job fairs will be available to students through the end of the school year on Bill’s Career Advisor Bookings page.
